Welcome to the Little Nugget app and website (collectively referred to as the “Service”). The Service is provided to you by CHG Developments, LLC d/b/a Little Nugget or our affiliates (referred to herein as “we”, “us”, “our”, “Little Nugget”). This policy provides you with details on the information we collect from you and the uses we make of your personal information. If you do not want us accessing and/or using your personal information as described herein, please do not provide us with any. We’ll notify you before we make changes to this policy.

At Little Nugget, we recognize the sensitivity of the confidential information that you share with our service, and we are firmly committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information belongs to you alone, and we do not make any claims to own it when you share it with us. We do not sell or rent it to anyone. We are vigilant about preventing unauthorized people from gaining access to it. This policy explains our information gathering and dissemination practices.

We encourage you to read this policy to learn more about what information of yours we collect, how we use it, and how you can “opt-out” of certain communications and uses of your data. How we collect and use information

We collect information in three ways: (1) you share information using the Service, (2) you may purchase something from us, and you would give us credit or debit card information to do that, and (3) we collect some information automatically.

We may collect non-personally identifiable information (Non-PII) about you, including but not limited to your IP address, phone model, phone operating system and browser type, for system administration and in order to create reports. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

The only cookies in use on our application and website are for Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Mixpanel Mobile Analytics, Facebook and Pinterest. Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Mixpanel are analytics and marketing tools that helps application owners directly market to and understand how visitors engage with their website. Google Analytics customers can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with their website so that they can improve it.


Personal information that you give us

Little Nugget enables families to personalize, organize and treasure their children’s moments. Information about the people who use the application, and their family members, is an integral part of the Little Nugget experience. At a minimum, you must give us certain limited personal information (PII) to register as a member of Little Nugget. The basic personal information we collect from new members, who sign-up for Little Nugget, includes:

  • Name
  • A valid and verifiable email address
  • A child name and birthdate/due date

You will also be required to select a password. Keeping the password secret is your responsibility. We are not responsible if you let the wrong people have your password, although we will do everything we can to help you if you notify us of a password breach.

The personal information contained and any photos you post to the Service are private. No other user or family member can see that information unless to decide to share it outside of the application.

How we use your child’s name and birthdate

We do not share or sell your information, or information related to your child’s name or birthdate with 3rd party advertisers.

To personalize your experience on Little Nugget, we may use your child name, birth date and/or due date to send relevant in-app push notifications. You must opt-in to receive the notifications. If you do not wish to receive this content, you can simply disable the feature at any time through your phone’s Settings.

We will also use your email address to let you know about upcoming child milestones, relevant development content, let you know about new features, promotions, or other offers of interest from us or our affiliates, and to address customer service needs and requests.

Access to your data is limited to our authorized staff and is restricted by our own internal password protection mechanisms.

Financial Information that you give us

We currently do not take any financial information to create an account. Some parts of the Little Nugget experience are available on a paid basis, and we also offer products and services for sale through our Print Shop. To facilitate payment of printed products, we will request certain required personal information from you, including your personal credit card or debit card information. All transactions are managed through the App Store, Google Play or our printing service,

When you purchase in-app purchases for our service, your personal billing information is processed through Apple or Google Play. We do not have access to this information,

When you make a purchase from our online store, we partner with and they collect the following personal and financial information from you:

  • Name
  • Billing address
  • Shipping address
  • Phone number
  • Credit/debit card information
  • Photos Printed
  • Items purchased

We will not share this financial information with anyone outside of our company, other than the financial institutions involved in processing your payment. We will comply in all respects with applicable consumer credit laws. has their own privacy and data collection practices. We have no responsibility or liability for these independent policies. You should therefore review their privacy notices carefully if you have concerns about how your information may be used.

Information we collect automatically

In addition to the personal information you may provide to us as described above, we automatically collect non-personal information to make Little Nugget, and its applications, work better for you. This non-personal information (Non-PII) is not associated with information that can identify you. This information helps us evaluate how users and members use our service, such as data analysis, carrying out internal research on how our application and website is used, audits, developing new products and services, improving our services, identifying usage trends and determining the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.

The technologies we use to gather this non-personal information include:

  • IP Addresses: IP addresses define the Internet location of computers and help us better understand the geographic distribution of our members and manage the performance of our website. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our application.
  • Cookies: Cookies are tiny files that are placed onto the hard drive of your computer or mobile device when you visit our website. They let us immediately recognize you when you return to the site. This enables us, among other things, to personalize your experience with our site. Contrary to popular myth, cookies do not extract private or personal information from your computer. Because cookies are stored on your computer, you can delete them whenever you want, but doing that might diminish your user experience. You may modify your browser preferences to accept all cookies, be notified when a cookie is set, or reject all cookies.   • Web logs: To learn about how people use our website, we examine Web logs, which show the paths people take through our site and how long they spend in certain areas. We also use Web logs to detect the type of Web browser you are using so that we can optimize the performance of our Web site and understand the mix of browsers used by our members.

 Security is important to us

We place great importance on the security of all personally identifiable information associated with our members. We have undertaken and will undertake commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized Internet access to user data retained in our servers. To help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we adhere to industry standard practices and procedures to help safeguard and secure the information we collect. However, due to the inherent open nature of the Internet, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information provided online, and you assume this risk by using the Service. Please note that we will not be liable for disclosures of your data due to errors or unauthorized acts of third parties, including third party host providers. If a data breach does occur, we will notify you of the breach via the email address provided at sign up.

We may aggregate non-personally identifiable (Non-PII) data and retain it for analytical purposes. We may retain your personally identifiable (PII) data, if provided by you through the Service, for as long as your inquiry is active (as determined by us) and for a reasonable time thereafter, or if applicable, for as long as you remain on our marketing list. We also may retain your PII for a longer period of time as needed to provide you services or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Even if we delete some or all of your PII, we may continue to retain and use aggregate, anonymous data previously collected and/or anonymize and aggregate your personal information.

 Your Privacy Rights

When would Little Nugget share your personal information with others?

We will share your personal information only in the following ways:

  • Little Nugget personnel and authorized consultants and/or contractors may have access to user information if necessary in the normal course of Little Nugget’s business.
  • Under the protection of appropriate agreements, we use third parties to perform various tasks for us. For example, we will use third parties to process payments from you and to help manage our website and relationships with you. These third-parties are only given access to that information needed to perform their support functions, and are prohibited from using it for other purposes.
  • If Little Nugget, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, user information would be one of the assets that are transferred. Also, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, all such information may be considered an asset of ours and as such may be sold or transferred to third parties.
  • We may release personal information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with a law; to enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other policies; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Little Nugget, our employees, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
  • Except as noted elsewhere in this policy, we will contact you when your personal information is shared with third parties or used for a purpose incompatible with the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected.

 You may remove your information from the Little Nugget application at any time.

Just send a request to Please allow an appropriate amount of time for us to respond, though we will do all we can to act promptly. When you delete your account, we delete all personal data associated with your account including your name, email, and photos you have saved to your albums. If explicitly requested, we may also delete your information from our marketing lists and analytics tools. YOU CANNOT RETRIEVE THIS INFORMATION, INCLUDING YOUR CHILD PHOTOS, ONCE IT IS DELETED FROM OUR SYSTEM.

We store data for as long as it is necessary to provide products and services to you, including those described in this policy. Information associated with your account will be kept until your account is deleted, unless we no longer need the data to provide products and services. We may retain your personally identifiable information for a longer period of time as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.

We are not responsible for removing your personally identifiable information from the lists of any third party who has previously been provided with your information in accordance with this privacy policy or your separate consent.

Unless requested at time of account deletion, we may continue to retain and use aggregate, anonymous data previously collected and/or anonymize and aggregate your personal information.

You may “opt out” of email notifications.

By default, we will send you an email notification when:

  • You sign up and create an account through the Little Nugget application.
  • Your child hits designated milestones or developmental hurdles as specified by the birthday/due date provided.
  • We have updated the millstone artwork in the application.
  • We have updated features or new promotions that are relevant to you.

In any Little Nugget email, you can opt-out of each of these notifications either by following the “unsubscribe” links at the bottom of the email. You can also manage the content you see in email notifications by managing your email preferences.

Please note that there might be a brief delay between when you submit your request to “opt-out” and when it is processed and reflected in our systems; accordingly you may continue to receive communications from us for a limited time after you unsubscribe. We appreciate your patience.

 Right to Remove Inappropriate Content

We reserve the right to remove any information posted to the Little Nugget application for any reason. Normally, we would only do this if we believe, in our judgment, that posted information: (i) infringes, misappropriates or violates a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights or other intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy; (ii) violates, or encourages any conduct that would violate, any applicable law or regulation or would give rise to civil liability; (iii) is fraudulent, false, misleading or deceptive; (iv) is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar or offensive; (v) promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment or harm against any individual or group; (vi) is violent or threatening or promotes violence or actions that are threatening to any other person; or (vii) promotes illegal or harmful activities or substances; or (vii) simply isn’t appropriate for a family audience.

 Changes and updates

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to modify, add, or remove portions from this policy at any time. If we decide to change this privacy policy, we will issue an updated version with an updated date legend (and/or notify you via e-mail or by other appropriate means) so that you will be aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it in accordance with applicable law. If you do not consent to any changes to our privacy policy and as a result you would like us not to use or hold your information in accordance with the revised terms, you may contact us so we can decide whether to continue to apply the previous policy or delete your information and/or account.

We encourage you to raise any concerns using the contact information provided below, and we will investigate and attempt to resolve any complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of information. You may also request access to your personally identifiable information (if you have provided PII to us through the Service) and information about our collection, use and disclosure of that information by using the contact information provided below. Subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law, you will be given reasonable access to your personal information, entitlement to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information, and the ability to have it amended as is appropriate. You can help us maintain the accuracy of your information by notifying us of any changes to your personal information.

 Governing Law

This Privacy Policy and our legal obligations hereunder are subject to the laws of Indiana, USA regardless of your location. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of and venue in the federal and state courts located in Indianapolis in the State of Indiana, U.S.A. in all disputes arising out of or relating to the Service.

The Service is maintained in the United States of America. By using the Service, you authorize the export of your information to the USA and its storage and use as specified in this policy.
